My research aims to unravel the molecular mechanisms underlying banana fruit quality. By combining transcriptomics and metabolomics approaches, I identify genes and molecular biomarkers associated with postharvest physiological disorders, including browning and bruising. These studies contribute to a better understanding of fruit quality and support banana varietal diversification.
