I am in charge of the banana cell biology laboratory. My current research focuses on developing embryogenic culture of hybrids in order to stabilize these lines and enable their transformation. I am also working to optimize both stable and transient genetic transformations, with the goal of improving hybrids for traits related, in particular, to fruit quality.
