The PicPlant imaging platform, located in the IRD greenhouses, was created by DIADE to provide the community with a unique imaging solution installed as close as possible to the plants.

The platform contains state-of-the-art micro- and macro-scope equipment, integrated into the MRI-PHIV-DIADE microscopy platform opened in 2023, associated with the MRI – BioCampus Montpellier (Montpellier imaging resources) platform.

More importantly, the platform is adjacent to modern culture chambers that allow climate control, which can be used for many species.
