External service
The platform does not provide services in the strict sense of the term. However, several teams from different UMRs in Montpellier use our NGS platform for collaborative projects, contributing to the cost of consumables and small equipment.

Our NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) laboratory is equipped with devices for the qualification and quantification of DNA extracts (Biorad Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis system, Invitrogen Qubit 4 Fluorometer, Nanodrop), as well as devices for the preparation of NGSII or NGSIII libraries (Qiaxcel migration system, Bioruptor® Pico sonication device, QIAxcel Connect System, STARLAB guardOne PCR hood).

Several Oxford Nanopore Technology (ONT) long-fragment sequencers (NGSIII) are also available (four Minion MK1B, two MK1C, and one PromethION P2Solo). The sequencers are controlled by a PC capable of performing sequencing in adaptive sampling mode (NVIDIA RTX 5000) with a storage capacity of 70 TB. A Synology NAS is also available for cold storage of the raw data generated (200 TB).

This equipment enables us to meet objectives such as the production of data for de novo genome assembly, resequencing for SNP or structural diversity analysis, and the identification of epigenetic modifications such as methylations.
Institutional collaborations (PHIM, CBGP, ISEM, MARBEC, LGDP, etc.) and inter-institutional collaborations (INRAE, CIRAD).
