My research focuses on the morphogenesis of ovules in Arabidopsis. These organs emerge from the placenta and are separated from each other by boundary domains (BDs).
The aim of the project is to understand how the growth and mechanical properties of these BDs interact with the underlying biological processes to control the emergence and formation of functional ovules.
