I am a doctoral student working on understanding the native diversity of Ugandan Coffea canephora in relation to abiotic and biotic environments. This work involves characterizing cultivated and wild C. canephora at the morphological and genetic levels, with the aim of assessing the potential of Ugandan germplasm for agronomic resilience and resilience to climate change. This project is being conducted in collaboration between NaCORI (Uganda), CIRAD, IRD, and Makerere University.
