My research activities focus primarily on the oil palm, a perennial monocotyledon of the Arecaceae family cultivated for oil production. The aim is to deepen our understanding of the molecular mechanisms governing the development and metabolism of the fruit and seeds in this species in order to promote the selection of varieties that meet the sector’s criteria (production, nutritional quality, and seed conservation).
