PhD student working on the genetic analysis of Robusta coffee’s response to water stress.
My work focuses on evaluating the response of Robusta coffee to drought, identifying genomic regions associated with water stress tolerance, and studying the adaptation of coffee genotypes to different agro-ecologies in Uganda.
This project is being conducted in collaboration with the National Coffee Research Institute (NaCORI, Kituza–Mukono), CIRAD, IRD, and Makerere University.
