I’m a plant scientist with a long-standing interest in apomixis, a natural asexual reproductive behavior that produces seeds bearing maternal clones. My research focuses on its establishment and evolution using Paspalum species and Arabidopsis as model systems, and encompasses functional (epi)genomics, developmental genetics, and fluorescent imaging methods.
