As a CIFRE PhD student in collaboration with IRD, CIRAD, and Amatera Bioscience, I am developing CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing tools for coffee plants. My work focuses on developing an efficient method for protoplast regeneration and transfection, as well as on characterizing genes involved in the biosynthesis of triacylglycerols and caffeine.
