Deputy Director of the DIADE unit.
I conduct research in functional coffee genomics and biotechnology (micropropagation, somatic embryogenesis, genome editing).
I work on the dissemination of Arabica hybrid varieties, mainly in Latin America, Central Africa, and Southeast Asia, and monitor agronomic performance.
I co-coordinated the European projects H2020 BREEDCAFS (2017-2022) and Horizon Europe BOLERO (2022-2026), and participated in the European project Desira ROBUST (2021-2025).
