The seven DIADE teams study the nature and role of structural and functional changes in the genome, as well as the diversity and structure of tropical plant populations. They focus in particular on the processes of speciation and adaptation to environmental variations, whether natural or human-induced.
CERES
The CERES team studies the role of cereal root systems in order to identify physiological and morphological traits that promote plant adaptation and crop resilience. We combine experimental biology, data analysis, and modeling, from the gene to the field.
COFFEEADAPT
The COFFEEADAPT team studies the mechanisms of adaptation of coffee trees to abiotic stresses and sustainable production systems.
DYNADIV
The DYNADIV team’s research focuses on plant biodiversity and adaptation.
Its members study how the biodiversity of tropical plants is shaped by evolutionary forces resulting from human and environmental factors.
GENOPS
The GENOPS team conducts research on tropical perennial plants with high agronomic value, mainly palm trees and coffee trees, as well as their wild relatives.
MADE
The MADE team develops integrative biology approaches to characterize the genetic, molecular, and physiological bases of chemical trait variability of major interest to agronomy, ecology, and health.
PANEEC
The PANEEC team focuses on the study of pangenomes (e.g., construction, manipulation, visualization) and on pangenomes as a basis for the study of evolutionary biology (e.g., domestication).
REPROD
The REPROD team focuses on understanding the mechanisms responsible for plant reproduction and, in some cases, their alterations in response to environmental changes…
